Local dance instructor Kevin Laddison is producing a cable access television program titled "Care to Dance?" that teaches non-dancers the basics of partner dancing. Laddison says, "The idea behind "Care to Dance?" is to teach people with little or no dance experience to dance in a manner that allows the audience to learn along with the students on screen". The program is being broadcast on Northwest Access Television, Adelphia Cable Channel 15, in Highgate, St. Albans and Swanton on Wednesdays at 1:00 am, and on Thursdays at 5:30 am and 10:00 pm. Laddison is joined onscreen by his teaching partner Katie O'Connor.

Laddison recorded episodes of "Care to Dance?" covering Merengue, East Coast Swing and Cha Cha on Saturday December 6th, 2003. On Saturday January 17th, 2004 Laddison recorded episodes covering Waltz and Bolero while local swing dance instructors Shirley McAdam and Chris Nickl recorded episodes covering Charleston and Balboa, two swing dances that originated in the 1930's. Future episodes are set to feature other local expert dance instructors including Victoria Moore, the owner and principal teacher of Salsalina, Vermonts' only Latin Dance Studio. Moore will record episodes covering Salsa and Bachata, two popular Latin dances. Additional guest instructors are scheduled for March and April.
